We, the IFS ESG team, looking for a talented Environmental Social & Governance Product Manager.
This is a great opportunity to lead the Research and Development efforts, coordinating and managing projects across the organization in support of sustainability and ESG. As part of this role, you’ll work on developing products aimed at helping companies achieve their sustainability goals and report on their progress in line with international standards. The ESG product is currently in an incubation phase, allowing you to engage in iterative product development with a customer-centric approach.
Your role will be pivotal in transforming our organization, articulating and harmonizing our sustainability strategy across the wider company. You’ll integrate sustainable practices into partnerships across our Application Portfolio, collaborating with teams throughout the organization to leverage and contribute to supportive and complementary efforts. From design through end-of-life, you’ll drive standardized sustainable approaches for our customers. Additionally, you’ll foster connections with internal and external partners, promoting innovation and sustainability policies to assert our leadership position in this crucial area.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the roadmap for ESG and sustainability, covering new products in development and IFS’s Application Portfolio. This roadmap will guide our customers toward achieving their sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary Product Management teams to align project milestones, schedules, costs, and metrics, ensuring successful delivery of sustainability initiatives.
- Frame and coordinate the sustainability roadmap to effectively communicate our sustainability efforts to our customers.
- Plan the product roadmap and set clear goals, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Coordinate and collaborate with IFS Application Portfolio Product Managers to ensure that sustainability efforts are aligned with the relevant scope.
- Identify improvement opportunities and analyze them for efficiency (waste, complexity, cost), effectiveness (achieving desired outcomes), and quality. Make recommendations for solutions and improvements.
- Ensure new product delivery is delivered and aligns with the IFS development process.
- Identify roadblocks and demonstrate the ability to provide practical recommendations for overcoming them.
Qualifications
- Strong Product and Program management skillset and experience
- Experience managing sustainability products or projects.
- 5+ years of product management for a product company, ideally Enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Proven experience in leading and implementing transformation projects and or products.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, self-discipline, and self-motivation.
- Experience in a complex, fast paced business environment.
- Sharp intellect, coupled with problem solving, judgment, decision making and strategic capabilities.
- Strong technical abilities, You are intimately familiar with modern/agile software development practices used to build and deploy web and mobile applications.
- Strong analytical capabilities, You excel at and enjoy building models and decomposing complex structures into useful primitives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and projects.
- Strong customer and stakeholder empathy, You must be not only the voice of the customer, but at various times the voice of marketing, sales, engineering, support, customer success, and operations. You must be able to channel many points of view
