Laboratory Technologist- Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) Malabe

(Faculty of Engineering)

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Laboratory Technologist attached to the Department of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day operations and maintenance of department labs, equipment and technical tasks.

Providing high-level technical support and advice to students and staff.Servicing and cleaning equipment and infrastructure.

Designing, developing and maintaining equipment to ensure effective and safe use.Maintaining health and safety at the faculty.

Minimum Requirements:

NVQ level 6 or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field

Minimum 3 years of work experience ina similar role

Basic understanding of the operation and maintenance of lab equipment and infrastructure

Excellent organizational skills, analytical skills and communication skills
