Junior Executive – Payments

The Job holder is responsible in handling all kind of payments which are related to repair and maintenance at Head Office buildings, existing branch network and special projects related payments such as refurbishments, branch relocations and new branch openings. Work as a team player along with the department staff to quality standards set by management of NDB.

The Job:

-Deep understanding of the approved current policy and procedures relating to different types of payments.
-Adhere to all the applicable policies and procedures. 
-To handle all repair and maintenance related payments of NDB head office buildings, existing branch network, new branch opening and special projects.
-Make utility payments such as (Electricity & Water) on time in order to make sure smooth process of Head Office Buildings.
-To maintain zero- tolerance with respect to adherence of all internal audit, external audit and regulatory compliance as applicable.
-Adhere to the department operating instructions, policies and procedures assigned.
-Maintain a good quality and efficient service for both internal and external customers.
-Make stationery request on behalf of the Maintenance department.

The Person:

-Possess a Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Finance or equivalent professional qualification. 
-Possess minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity in a large organization.
-Sound knowledge in accounting concepts / principles and Microsoft Office Packages.
-Proficient communication skills in oral and written in both Sinhala and English languages.
-Attention to detail and accuracy.
