Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our business transformation team as an IT Business Analyst. This is an on-site job and it is based in Colombo. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions, focusing on driving technological changes that align with strategic business objectives. The IT Business Analyst will interpret business requirements into technical specifications and liaise with stakeholders to ensure that transformative IT solutions meet user needs. He/She will also collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality transformation solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst with a focus on business transformation initiatives such as ERP implementations, digitization, cloud migration, and business process automation.
- Strong understanding of business processes, IT systems, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to interpret business requirements, create technical specifications, and perform gap analysis
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar industry.

- Gather and document business requirements for IT transformation initiatives.
- Analyze and optimize existing processes.
- Develop detailed system specifications.
- Administer current IT systems.
- Drive IT engagement within the sector.
- Develop and execute business continuity plans.
