Human Resources Manager
A global organization in the service sector is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Human Resource Manager who can effectively lead the Human Resource function and drive the people agenda in achieving organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Drive the organization's human resources, including talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, employee retention and succession planning practices
• Manage organization's compensation and benefits program including the salary processing and making statutory payments in a timely and precise manner
• Ensure scheduled performance evaluations and oversee the total performance management process
• Provide recommendations to the top management on people related aspects of the organization
• Maintain harmonious labour relations at all levels in the organization
• Coordinate with global centers of excellence to implement global best practices locally where relevant
• Act as the key point of contract for HR system's implementation and upgrades to the existing systems by liaising with the global HR centers

Requirements
• A university degree specializing in HR or an equivalent professional qualification
• At least five years of managerial experience in HR with no less than ten years of relavant experience
• People oriented and result driven
• Ability to develope strategy along with leadership skills
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• Strong communicational skills in English and Sinhalese
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS
• A good motivator and trainer
