Visiting Lecturer – Eastern University of Sri Lanka

Suitable candidates are invited for the Post of Visiting Lecturers for undergraduate courses at the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, Vantharumoolai, Chenkalady, for the below mentioned subjects ;

• Business Law

• Auditing and Assurance

• Taxation Management

• Labour Law

Required Qualifications:

• A degree with first or second class or postgraduate or professional qualifications of a recognized university/ recognized professional body in the relevant subject/field;

and

• Not less than five (OS) years teaching/professional experience in a relevant field.

General Conditions:

• Recruitment, salary, benefits and other service conditions will be as per the provisions stipulated in Management Services Circular No. 1/2019 issued by the Ministry of Finance on 05.03.2019. 
• Selections will be based on a structured interview and other circular conditions. 
• All applications must be filled according to the format given in this circular and send all copies of relevant documents. 
• If applying for more than one project, all of them should be mentioned in the same application. 
• Candidates should be agreed to work around any place in the area and/or country if selected. 

Salary Scale:

• Visiting Lecturers will be paid Rs. 1500/ = per hour and Travelling allowance as approved by Government Regulations.

• Applicants who are employees of University System, Government Departments, State Corporations and Statutory Bodies should forward their applications through the Heads of their respective institutions, but may send an advance copy in the first instance. However, no such applicant will be considered for interview, if the application channelled through the Head of the Department is not received.
