Management Assistant – University College Batangala

Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens of Sri Lanka to serve at the University College of Batangala in the following Posts till 26th May 2025.

Qualifications Required:

External Category 

Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects in one sitting with credit passes for four subjects, including Sinhala / Tamil, English Language & Mathematics 

AND 

Having achieved the performance level required to follow a tertiary education course by passing the required number of subjects other than the ‘General Paper’ at the G.C.E.(A/L) Examination. 

AND 

Not below National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 5 in Information and Computer Technology 

Internal Category 

A confirmed employee who has completed at least 05 years of satisfactory service in a permanent post in the University College in the categories of primary-level skilled, semiskilled, or unskilled. 

AND 

Should have passed in at least 06 subjects, including Sinhala/Tamil and English Language or Literature and Mathematics at not more than two sittings at the G.C.E.(O/L) examination. 

AND 

Not below National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 5 in Information and Computer Technology.

Selection: 

• Written competitive examination and/or a structured interview.

Age Limit:

• Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years, unless otherwise mentioned for the post applied.

Salary Scale:

• U – MT 1(IIIA) -2016 Rs. 31,625 -7x300- 10x355-37,275 p. m (w.e.f 2020).
