The Executive - Regional Business Development of ikman holds ultimate responsibility for selling ikman products & services to potential customers and maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance on maintaining an membership account with ikman
Duties & Responsibilities
- Calling potential customers and selling the company’s products
- Researching the target market and finding potential customers to target
- Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales
- Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales
- Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the Manager/Team Lead
- Progressing towards activity targets and KPI’s set by the Manager/Team Lead
- Entering all required data for sales into the company systems
- Creating invoices and sending out to customers following a sale
- Updating the MMS and input customer information
- Following up with past customers and cross-selling products
- Following up on leads generated by other departments
- Investigating and resolving queries from customers
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in sales
- Excellent negotiation skills to pitch & close sales
- Must have a bike & valid riding licence
- Wiliness to achieve sales targets
- Proficiency in two languages (English/Sinhala or Tamil)
- Resides in or around Galle & Matara
