Description
- Manage team aligned with departmental priorities and objectives
- To develop the team to ensure each member has the correct skill base / skill set to achieve / support overall QA objectives
- To align the team KPI and drive the result. Regular individual appraisals, objectives Vs achievements, re-align where necessary
- Engage with cross functional partners (Region & US), regular predetermined basis
- Engage with vendors, regular predetermined basis
- Support functional leader on the alignment with organization direction/ business direction
- Manage End to End QA Process
- Risk assessment manage through Product Development Process Optimization process / Pre-production meeting
- First bulk approval/ In process/ End line/ Pre final/ Final- standard quality control system/ standard quality performance reporting system
- Quality issues/ quality call outs
- Establish platform for lesson learned activities
- Establish quality performance awareness review
- Support functional leader to create / establish a forum to enable understanding of latest manufacturing technology – man - machinery – tools – devices etc.
- Support functional leader to champion Right First Time cultural behavior
- Support functional leader to ensure the vendor has QA talent support our business with standardize processes/ methodology/proper resource
- Key accountability on regional QA/Production activities/issues resolutions
- Support functional leader for the Quality Issue Resolution process and partnering with US QA / product performance team
- Root cause quality issue resolution, within agreed timelines
- Develop / maintain central lesson learned library
- Timely issuance of quality performance statistics to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications
- 12+ years of apparel production/technical quality assurance knowledge
- 8 - 10 years’ experience in team and process management.
- Direct and able to influence factories on production issues
- Practical experience of quality assurance and risk management within the clothing industry.
- Ability to set goals and direction and identify skills within a team. Ability to envision change and support Strategic Initiatives across the Business
- A strategic thinker with advanced negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to demonstrate 5+ years’ experience of having recruited, developed and managed a senior team
- Good understanding of garment construction, fabrication, and production process
- Able to navigate and influence as a trusted adviser to leadership.
- Well organized, sharp attention to detail, advanced communication skills and able to motivate and encourage associates whilst under pressure
- Proficient in Word, Excel advanced functions and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree/Higher Diploma or equivalent.
