We have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Events Operations to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
As the Director, Events Operations you will be reporting directly to the Director, Food & Beverage where you will orchestrate and execute a wide range of events, from elegant weddings and corporate gatherings to extravagant international banquet functions. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality, creating memorable guest experiences that resonate with the grand scale and significance of Cinnamon Life. As a pivotal contributor to this project, you will build and enhance the reputation of Cinnamon Life as the premier destination for extraordinary experiences.
In this role, you will oversee the seamless implementation of operations, ensuring our valued guests experience exceptional services beyond expectations. You will manage all event and banquet spaces while forecasting expenses and ensuring quality control. You will lead the strategic planning of our event operations, manage budgets, and ensure the seamless execution of a diverse range of events. Cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships is paramount, where you will serve as a key point of contact during events, promptly addressing any concerns to ensure guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for overseeing client relations, conducting post-event analysis, managing risk, and integrating sustainability practices into our operations. You will work closely with the Director, Food & Beverage to develop an exceptional team capable of delivering unparalleled service to both guests and internal business partners, which will ultimately help in positioning the resort as a leading provider of luxury world-class experiences.
