We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager, Events Operations to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Manager of Event Operations to meticulously oversee the daily Banquet operations, ensuring an exceptional level of service and guest satisfaction across all outlets. Your responsibilities extend to the comprehensive management of all event and banquet spaces, overseeing daily administration and operations. Your active participation in preparing periodic budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures will play a crucial role in the financial management of the department. Key aspects of this position involve promptly addressing guest concerns, personally welcoming VIP guests, and guaranteeing precise Banquet setups at least one hour before each event. Upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and a positive attitude towards clients and colleagues is paramount in this role. Furthermore, you will collaborate seamlessly with the senior F&B team to develop annual entertainment, promotional, and festive season plans, thereby contributing significantly to the overall success of the department.
