Provincial Road Development Authority JOBS

Introduction The Provincial Council system was established in Sri Lanka by the 13th Amendment to the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Provincial Road Development Authority of the Western Province was incorporated by the Charter No. 4 of 1989, which was first adopted in the history of the Provincial Council. Accordingly, the Provincial Road Development Authority of the Western Province is a turning point in the administrative and political spheres of the provincial council structure. Although the Charter has been in force since 1989, it officially began functioning as an authority on January 1, 1989. Accordingly, the authority has been entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining and developing the road network belonging to Class C and D of the Western Province as published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 582/22 dated 03.11.1988.
