About the job
- Install, configure, maintain and update computers, network systems and peripherals
- Coordinate troubleshooting and problem resolution involving LAN/WAN networking hardware, including, switches, routers and cabling
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to the needs and inquiries of users; explain issues, deploy solutions, follow up with users to ensure the functionality of the users' systems and provide necessary troubleshooting
- Maintain current inventory records of all IT hardware and Software in asset management system
- Proactively monitor network environment and servers, resolve connectivity issues and ensure the integrity of the network and servers
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines, based on the knowledge of best practices and compliance requirements of ISO 9001
- Recognize problems by identifying abnormalities and determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audit

Requirements
- BSc in Computer Networks or related
- Minimum 3 years of related experience is a must
- Residing within the Colombo district would be an added advantage
- CCENT/ CCNA/ Microsoft qualifications are optional
