SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
Job Responsibilities

Supply Chain

Responsible for managing the entire Supply Chain Management for the country operation

Partnering with operations and sales and marketing team to streamline the process and troubleshoot any lags

Responsible for procurement of raw materials and finish goods locally and internationally

 

Demand Forecasting

Responsible for forecasting of goods and raw material to be imported based on inputs from business operations

Ensure last mile connect of for transportation of finished goods to service distributors/Dealers and institutional customers.

Responsible for ensuring inventory and overall Warehouse/store management

 

Vendor Contract Management

Partnering with logistic and transport vendor

Developing vendors at negotiated rate contract

Liaison with shipping agents and regulatory authority

 

Budgeting & Cost Control

Continuous tracking of budget and managing cost of supply chain operations

Responsible adhering to all statutory and regulatory norms

Periodic MIS and reports for the function to be presented to management regularly

 

Price Management — RMS and PMS

Work on a total cost of ownership basis defining and detailing each element of cost.

    Review cost elements like geography of supply, MOQ and lead times to reduce overall cost of ownership

    Ensure procurement cost is lower than or equal to market through market insights like value chain analysis, cost breakup module and other            external statistics.

   Analyze and identify ways to reduce cost of procurement through (non-exhaustive):

            Alternate vendor development

            Value engineering

            Volume negotiations

            Payment term negotiations

             Annual discounts

 

Job Requirements

Post Graduate in Engineering / Chemistry / Supply Chain

7-10 years' experience in Supply Chain Management.

Experience in Supply Chain function with Coating Industry or FMCG Industry would be an added advantage

Exposure to Import Logistics, Local PM Procurement and regulatory matters in import of chemicals/solvents is a must.

Up-to-date with the latest supply chain management trends, and best practices

Proficient computer skills

Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Confident and dynamic personality

Ability to work under pressure
