The Role
This role would be an ideal position for a candidate with a technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering with Solar energy industry exposure locally or internationally. Preference will be given for the local applicants as this role required local industry exposure.
 
As a Solutions Manager - Solar PV, you would be working collaboratively on expanding Digital Power/ Solar projects in the country and take new initiatives in building our Digital Power brand. This will be an interesting role for you if you would like to expand into new horizons as this role will include key responsibilities such as:
 

  • being responsible for expanding Digital Power/ Solar projects in Sri Lanka, engage with customer and provide product promotion and sales support
  • analyzing the Sri Lankan Digital Power/ Solar industry, identify and nurture business leads and create innovative solutions
  • ensuring the BU sales targets are met as per the revenue plan
  • taking initiatives in building the Digital Power brand
  • providing timely feedback on market requirements and competition information through gaining market insight
  • encouraging product R&D based on market and competitive demands
  • going above and beyond to support clients to deliver tailored experiences

 
 
This role would match your profile;

  • If you possess a professional background with a Master’s / Bachelor's Degree in the related field. Educational qualification in Electrical & Electronics / Telecommunications would be preferred
  • If you have hands on experience with Digital Power/ Solar Sales or Enterprise Customer Sales experience and have a natural passion in the subject
  • having a thorough understanding of products and solutions, as well as processes and methodologies
  • being familiar with the bidding process and have a good understanding on pre-sales and bidding processes
  • being a motivated individual who would achieve shared goals and results by sincerely providing a helping hand to others
  • being a service-oriented team player who has the ability to create a work environment which sparks creative thinking to drive sales growth.
