We are looking for a passionate PHP developer with experience in Wordpress to join our TWC family. You will be responsible for implementing custom themes and plugins for Wordpress as well APIs to integrate with our exisiting systems. We are looking for someone who is specialized in building robust systems, including e-commerce platforms in Wordpress. We expect you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and also have the passion to learn them.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the - CMS
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Create APIs to integrate the CMS to our existing systems
Qualifications/Skill set
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Bsc./Msc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
- Ability to do CSS changes to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Ability to convert ui mockups and wireframes into web page layouts
- Knowledge in implementing RESTful APIs - added qualification
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitLab and GitHub
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Familiarity working with PHP frameworks like CakePHP or Laravel
- Experience in working with database administration tools such as phpMyAdmin
