The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications.
- Serve as technical expert on development projects. Drives full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
- Drive software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
- Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
- Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.
Qualifications
- Competent (4+ years) PHP language programming skills.
- Full-stack experience. Frontend using Javascript and CSS along with frameworks (Angular JS, jQuery, NodeJS, Vue.JS) as well as backend using different stacks.
- Experience with PHP Frameworks: Laravel, Zend and Codeigniter Experience with application layer technologies and API Integrations (XML, JSON, and REST)
- Competent with OOP, MySQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with source code control systems.
- Able to perform code reviews to ensure the code meets the acceptance criteria.
- Fair understanding on Magento and WordPress will be an added advantage.
