Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge in SQA concepts, methodologies, and processes.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and coding standards.
• Familiar with test automation framework.
• Experience in test automation using open-source tools such as Selenium, TestNG and Appium etc.
• Experience in API automation.
• Knowledge of database structure languages, such SQL.
• Strong knowledge about continuous integration, build and source control tools. (Jenkins, Maven, GIT).
• Hands on Experience in Performance testing (JMeter).
• Experience with preparing/maintaining QA artefacts (e.g., test plans, test cases, and automated scripts).
• Experience in the testing middle tier and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiar with JIRA and Pivotal Tracker.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge in Security testing would be an added advantage

 
Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or any other related degree.
• Should have 2+ years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional certification such as ISTQB would be an added advantage.
