Mandatory Skills

• Sound knowledge in SQA concepts, methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Sound knowledge of object-oriented concepts and programming.
• Experience with preparing/maintaining QA artifacts (e.g., test plans, test cases, and automated scripts).
• Experience in all phases of the software and testing lifecycle, inception through deployment.
• Experience in the testing middle tier and service-oriented architectures (e.g., Postman).
• Working experience in Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to set up CI with Jenkins.
• Practically used Git, SVN repositories.
• Build management using Maven, Ant, Gradle.
• Experience in mobile platform testing and UI testing.
• Knowledge of test automation or test framework would be an added advantage.
• Familiar with JIRA and Pivotal Tracker.
• Working experience in Linux environments.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.

 
Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or any other related degree.
• 3 - 5 years of industry experience.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional certification such as ISTQB would be an added advantage.
