We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our Sales Team in the role of Senior Manager Mobile Sales.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead HSBC Sri Lanka’s Mobile Sales Teams including internal Mobile Sales Team, Third Party Sales Agents and digital acquisitions to achieve service and sales objectives.
  • Drive revenue to the business through new to bank acquisition strategies.
  • Positively represent the HSBC brand and values with all prospective customers.
  • Articulate the strategic vision for the team and set clear objectives for the team to work on.
  • Lead transformation thinking to progress towards more efficient sales fulfillment operations.
  • Deliver fair outcome for customers and ensure both own and employee conduct supports the maintenance of orderly and transparent financial markets operations.
  • Manage all risk elements related to the above channels including Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and implement workflows to control and manage governance, risk management and compliance standards and the third party risk management framework.
  • Support the Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) in the delivery of the HSBC RBWM annual operating and strategic plan.

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Should be a Sri Lankan Passport holder.
  • Accountable for new to bank customer growth by fulfilling prospects banking needs on credit cards, loans and payroll (everyday banking).
  • Develop and implement a strategic and effective sales organization across RBWM by leveraging both digital and physical presence.
  • Build and develop sustainable relationships with key corporates and other strategic partners to promote cross selling opportunities.
  • Deliver initiatives to improve cost of acquisition through streamlining, transformation and sales force productivity.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including Credit Risk, Compliance and Operational teams.
  • Positively represent RBWM in all interactions.
  • Responsible to manage channel risk across Operational, Financial Crime Risk, Fraud and Conduct Risk.
  • Responsible for sales channel people strategy and management of core staff capabilities.
  • Accountable for performance management, development and coaching of direct reports and people leaders.
  • Manage process, infrastructure and resources to deliver agreed plans, identifying/implementing improvements and collaborating to maximize end to end integration, effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor application of policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or a higher educational qualification.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and service.
