Quarterly sign off to Local Regulator on solvency ratio under Risk Based Capital framework
Quarterly Claims Liability valuation
Monthly UPR calculation based on Internal guidelines
Monthly solvency ratio computation using RBC framework
Liaising with the Consultant Actuary for Year-end liability valuations and related analysis
Involvement in the company’s IFRS 17 Implementation process
Timely submission of Allianz group reporting templates
Data Extraction, cleaning and preparation for actuarial analyses
Building data models for ad-hoc analysis based on management needs
Solvency ratio projection for regulatory submissions
Monthly motor claims analysis
KPI submission for management reports
Portfolio analysis on selected segments
Liaising with the regional team on Technical pricing initiatives
Building pricing models using WTW Radar software
Other ad-hoc analysis
Requirement:
A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree with an emphasis in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related financial field.
7+ years of work experience in Non-Life Insurance in Actuarial domain.
Completion of a minimum of 8 actuarial subjects from a reputed actuarial examination body.
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge in Advanced MS Excel techniques.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Keen attention to detail & flexible work attitude.
Ability to coach, mentor and train junior resources.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good knowledge on the Sri Lankan insurance industry and regulations would be an added advantage.
Proficiency on SAS and Radar software would be an added advantage
