Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Safety, Health & Environment, the candidate will be supporting all aspects of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) with a strong focus on implementation and sustenance support. He/ she will further support the continuous improvement of SHE performance in line with the Nestlé Continuous Excellence framework to establish a ‘Safe by Choice’ culture within the factory.
A day in the life of...
- Direct and co-ordinate the development and implementation of the factory's SHE strategy & programmes
- Provide support to the line manager in ensuring adherence to Nestlé and local regulations, policies and requirements related to SHE
- Conduct trainings and internal assessments on company SHE management systems and perform activities related to ISO14001 and ISO 45001 certification
- Provide proactive support to the SHE Manager and Plant Managers with regards to achieving factory SHE related KPIs
- Support the SHE manager in risk assessment programmes, incident investigations and internal SHE auditing
- Ensure all mandatory Nestlé and local certifications are duly arranged
What Will Make You Successful
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Expected experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the safety, health & environmental function preferably in the food industry/ FMCG environment
- The ability to convince and influence people in new initiatives; Successfully demonstrate ability to be a part of a change management team; Demonstrate ability to drive others towards desired results
