Position Summary
Reporting operationally to the Senior Manager – Logistics and functionally to the Senior Manager – Quality Assurance., the candidate will implement and maintain quality systems in the Distribution Centre.
A day in the life of...
- Verify incoming materials for value addition and finished product post value addition
- Ensure quality standards on imported material/ products
- Release control on products for export after value addition
- Support compliance investigations and monitor integrated pest management (IPM) activities
- Manage out turn reports (OTRs) and train the team on Good Warehousing Practices (GWPs)
- Verification of secondary OTRs (CD to DC)
- Will have the responsibility of ensuring compliance in practices at the Distribution Center to all Nestlé/ ISO certifications
What Will Make You Successful
- Education: A basic degree in Science
- Expected experience: A minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
- A team player with good communication, positive attitude, willingness to learn and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on the business need of the day, and to work with minimal supervision
- Working smartly, with energy and zeal in pursuit of a given task, and maintaining consistency
- Process simplification and problem solving skills would be added advantages
