Brandix is seeking candidate for Senior Executive - Garment Technology position.
The Job
Your main responsibility is to follow garment development and sampling/approval process to maintain the required aesthetic & fit using correct and viable production-able methods and pattern making. You will work with the Technical team to establish and implement quality and technical standards for the development & production of new styles within the manufacturing facilities. Communicating with all relevant internal departments as well as customers to deliver a comprehensive service to both factory and end customer is compulsory. You have to conduct pre-production meetings with the manufacturing facilities & establish production standards. You will also be responsible to provide completed technical packs to the manufacturing facilities, assisting in improving the production process to ensure that the product is made using best production feasible and viable method. In addition to above you will be also responsible for managing & maintaining a critical path for sample approvals.
The Person
You should possess a sound technical knowledge with a textile degree/ diploma from a recognized institute with a minimum of 3 year experience in similar capacity. Sewing, Problem Solving, Innovative Thinking and execution excellence will be required competencies. You should have the knowledge to read, interpret customer requirement and specifications in English with a good command of spoken English. You will need to have the ability to manage your time and duties in an orderly and timely fashion. A sound understanding of pattern making is also an advantage.
