Responsibilities
•Examines the logical structures and improve performance of current systems
•Liaises with vendors on database related issues
•Performs proactive maintenance of services
•Provides assistance during incidents to minimize incident impact
•Presents, analysis and evaluates data clear and concisely
•Automate routine tasks and re-design existing scripts to overcome bugs if reported.
•Lead Junior DBAs/trainees to perform their DBA activities when required.
•Produces specifications for new or modified systems
•Develops and maintains systems documentation for educating new technical staff
•Improves database availability and troubleshoots advance recovery operations
•Manages database health, patch update, security and access control policies
Minimum Requirements / Essential Skills
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an IT related discipline
•Certification on OCA, preferable to have OCP.
•Minimum of 04 years of Core Oracle DBA experience
•Able to Work on UNIX environment
•Good listening skills and attention to detail
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Problem-solving and good analytical skills
•Communication, teamwork and negotiation skills
•Good organizational skills
