JOB ROLE
- Develop the patterns for new products to meet the design requirements, measurement specification and pattern gradings.

Continuous improvement;
- On products to have enhanced product performances and to uplift the quality parameters.
- In identifying the optimized designing for better productivity & to seek for Material/cost saving opportunities.
- Designing the markers with optimized marker efficiencies.
- 3D designing and mould development overlooking with suppliers
- Other fabric & material related consumption calculations and controls.
- Operational support, problem solving on markers & in patterns.
- Trend analysis & forecast
- New Material development with suppliers and guiding the process
- Being the custodian & responsible designator for change controls in patterns.
- Effectively collaborate with the global team on designing and technical support.
- Focus on the latest pattern design trends, new technologies etc and evaluate the feasibility of upgraded with them.
- Cross functional team collaboration & performing a mutually supportive role with HOD.

Compliance maintenance with all internal & external EHS rulings, regulations and other Risk Mitigation requirements
Key Position Requirements
Education
- Higher Diploma in Pattern Making and Grading.
- Professional qualification in renowned software’s of the industry of Gerber and Lectra.

Diploma in Computer Aided Drawing is an added advantage
Job Experience
- More than 5 years of work experience as Pattern Designer in Reputed establishment.
- More than 3 years of hands on experience in garments’ cutting operation & in handling Gerber / Lectra systems.

Experience in AutoCAD designing would be an added advantage.

- Excellent communication skills in English is a must, to coordinate with the Global teams.
