The position is available at Stretchline (Pvt) Ltd which is a member of the MAS Group of companies, and the company is situated in Biyagama. Stretchline manufactures and supplies one of the leading brands of Elastics in the world to renowned retailers of Lingerie such as Victoria’s Secret, M & S, GAP, Nike etc. We are on the look out for a dynamic and an energetic individual join Stretchline Holdings as a manager/ an assistant manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business challenges and derive / engineer the requirements to document the scope of the solution to be share with the respective project team
Discuss, observe, analyse the inputs / processes within the given business challenge to capture the process flow in diagrammatic form
Critically analyse the current “way of doing things” in a given process and come up with a better proposition in line with best in class practice in the manufacturing sector
Maintain the relevant documentation such as requirements engineering/ scope documents, functional and technical specifications and update the changes when required. Wherever a visual tool is used, maintain the requirements engineered in a visual form
Configure software applications as per the project scope/requirement and maintain documentation which is required to be passed down to the technical team
Work with external IT partners, maintain documentation related to the meetings and agreed deliverables
Test and ensure all relevant business scenarios are tested and documented
Implement the solution to the Business while considering business impact in planning the go live
Create training documentation, deliver training programs for the required audience and taking into account the feedback and subjections provided
Maintain timesheets every week in Project Server
Up to date understanding in technical and industry developments and special focus on Intelligent ERPs and Industry 4.0 related developments
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Excellent command of English both in the written and spoken form with excellent skills in using MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel to create content to support the work in hand
Excellent knowledge and awareness of the business functions / ERP in the manufacturing sector would be an added advantage
A good understating on Industry 4.0 and related technologies such as data analytics, AI, RPA, ML, DL, Autonomation
4 – 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
