Relationship Officers – Middle Market (Business Banking)
Southern Region
The position holders are responsible for deepening relationships with Business Banking - Middle Market account holders of Branches in Southern Region as well as canvass new business to grow the Asset & Liability books of the said segment. In doing so they will be responsible for the following;
The Job
· To understand business plan & operations plan relating to Business Banking - Middle Market segment, in terms of segment mix, portfolio mix and such other factors that will help achieving the targets
· To ensure close monitoring & achievement of business plan / targets relating to Business Banking - Middle Market Assets & Liabilities across all branches assigned to them
· Maintain portfolio standards and manage delinquencies as per target assigned
· Cross Sell / Generate Business Banking - Small Segment Products / Clients through the Business Banking - Middle Market Segment
· Deepen the relationship by cross-selling / up-selling variety of products to improve customer stickiness & improve profitability for the region
· To establish a robust internal control environment that is periodically reviewed & strengthened, through self-audits, periodic checks and such, as per policy
Entry Requirements
The Person
· Should possess a full professional / academic qualification in the field of Banking, Finance, Business, Commerce, Accountancy or any other related field
· Possess at least 5 years of banking or financial services experience including at least 3 years exposure in Credit
· Possess strong negotiation and communication skills
· Excellence in Planning & Organizing, Relationship Management, Negotiation Skills and People Management Skills
