You will be setting and managing priorities for the QA team members creating test plans and scripts, working closely with the development team ensuring new features are tested in a timely manner in-line with Agile principles. You will have the drive and enthusiasm to ensure continuous improvement to the quality of the software products.
You would have been used to working in a high pressure environment prioritising competing deliveries to meet business goals.
What you will do:
- Day-to-day leadership of the QA function
- Work closely with the product managers to ensure test plans are effective and accurate

Work with all members of the QA function to ensure work is distributed and implemented
effectively - Lead the estimating of agreed work and provide progress to relevant stakeholders
- Monitor agreed KPI’s and implement corrective actions where necessary

Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their
optimum performance levels and career development - Coordinate release and sprint planning with the software development manager
- Participate in daily scrum meetings
- Keep abreast of latest developments in testing especially within the automation field.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related subject
- Five years experience in a QA position
- 2-3 years in a QA leading position
- Strong verbal, formation presentation and written communications skills required
- Experience of testing with Agile methodologies with Scrum being preferable
- Solid understanding of regression, performance, scalability, security testing
- Excellent understanding of test automation technologies including Selenium, CodedUI and frameworks for testing REST and SOAP API’s
- Excellent written and spoken English
