Responsibilities
- Review requirement specifications, understand the requirements, and provide meaningful and timely feedback
- Create well-structured and comprehensive test cases
- Prepare test plans
- Provide input for test estimations
- Prioritize and perform quality testing activities
- Report issues and prepare bug reports (using JIRA, Mantis)
- Provide input for QA release note
- Provide input for test artifacts
- Maintain test environments
- Automate regression test suites
- Perform usability and performance testing
Qualifications
- A commonsense view of the world, with a strong end-user perspective on software apps, acquired through personal use of web and mobile apps
- 1+ year experience in test case writing, test planning, testing, and issue reporting
- Experience in test automation (Selenium/JMeter)
- Experience with Agile (Scrum) development methodology and defect management tools like JIRA.
- Strong Communication Skills in English
