The Manager – PMO & RP will be expected to fulfill duties and responsibilities under project management governance, project tracking and monitoring, and resource planning functions.

Main duties and responsibilities
Project Management Governance:

  • Sets standards for project management capabilities, including certifications and qualifications for project managers, success measurement criteria, methodologies, and tools to be used. 
  • Monitors compliance with (ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 )  policies and CMMI Level 3/Level 5 standard

 
Project Tracking & Monitoring:

  • Track and provide  project/ portfolio status and audit reports. 
  • Manage risk, issue, and change resolution process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action
  • Identify potential project -related risks and works with the company delivery organization to mitigate such risk while while keeping the executive leadership informed 
  • Works with the company delivery organization function to oversee project managers to deliver projects and programs on time, within the scope, and on budget. 
  • Track project metrics and provide insights to align project management with the organizational strategy 
  • Work with the pre-sales team to ensure proposals have the highest potential value, impact, and strategic alignment while ensuring delivery capability 
  • Interface with executives to define project priorities, implementation opportunities, and challenges and keep them up to date with project risks and opportunities. 

 
Resource Planning

  • Plan the company's deployable resources systematically to ensure optimal resource utilization 
  • Ensure details of resource allocation are communicated with the relevant individuals 
  • Manage and resolve any resource allocations conflicts, and issues 
  • Maintain bench plans and manage bench resources while collaborating with the relevant teams in identifying action plans to up skill and cross-skill resources 
  • Identify resource gaps and consult with the teams in developing short- and long-term capacity forecasts to ensure resource availability. 
  • Maintain and update the skill matrix of the deployable resource pool 
  • Respond, and follow-up on resource augmentation requests from partners 

 
Technical knowledge  

  • Knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches 
  • Budget, cost, and profitability management skills. 
  • Experience in delivering enterprise projects 
  • Knowledge of resource management tools. 
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to juggle multiple goals and deadlines in the context of the big picture. 
  • Team Leadership and Development: Ability to mentor, coach, and effectively transfer expertise to others. 
  • Facilitation, Negotiation, and Problem Resolution Skills: Ability to build a strong network and relationships at executive levels with technology and solutions, customers, and vendor groups. 
  • Resilience and resourcefulness 

 
Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, or a related field. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification will be an advantage
