About the role
· Raising purchase orders and place orders and follow up on the delivery.
· Sourcing raw materials and trims for confirmed orders as per the process and negotiating with relevant suppliers for delivery dates and price per the production plan and consumption.
·Implement process improvements, streamlining of operations and adding value to client perspective
· Conduct root cause analysis and on time closure of resolution of disputes/issues with proper corrective and preventive actions
About you
· Minimum 3-6 years business experience with a focus on supply chain operation, especially in the Retail or Consumer Goods space conversant with Sri Lanka
· Experience in Apparel sector is an added advantage.
· Degree in recognized institute/University and /or relevant post graduate qualifications
· Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.
· Effective oral and written communication skills is a must.
· Should possess exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
