Pre-Sales Consultant
 
Position Overview
As an experienced industry professional with strong core technical skills, the Pre-Sales Consultant will work closely with customers, partners and internal sales, delivery and product development teams in articulating the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users. Will be primarily engaged in a presales technical consultancy role, the consultant will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements prior to offering the solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities and supporting business sales teams, account managers and partners on proposal activities.
 
Job Overview
•Attending client meetings and supporting the sales team on demonstrating the company’s product offerings and preparing proposals
•Determine technical & business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to proposing the solution
•Create and confidently deliver technical & business presentations internally and externally
•Engaging in the RFP processes to provide completed information for the stated requirements
•Adhering to sales SLA’s and supporting the sales team members’ scope, design and submit required solution documentation on change requests from clients
•Internal coordination with product development teams in obtaining effort for change requests
•Preparation, Configuration and presentation of Proof of Concept Requirements of clients
•Maintenance of product knowledge base & solution documents and product demonstration, instance for sales team members and partners
 
Qualification & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in IT/Business Management or equivalent professional qualification
•Minimum 3-5 years if industry specific experience in a similar capacity
•4+ years of sales/solution selling experience along with carrying a sales quota
•Strong communication and written skills in English is a must
•MBA would be an added advantage
•Should be able to do presentations for the customers as well as to the internal parties
•Must be able to work under pressure to meet the deadlines
