Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
 
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Recruitment and Onboarding.
 
In this role, you will:
 

  • Implementing HSBC Resourcing Strategy and ensuring all execution is aligned to the strategy and regulatory standards
  • Attracting, assessing, engaging, interviewing and onboarding a slate of high-quality candidates for business requirements
  • Leading operational resourcing services and onboarding of hires
  • Building a pipeline of candidates through various sourcing techniques which includes but not limited to researching the market, interviewing candidates, acquiring leads and diversity recruiting and ensuring there is a measured approach at to fulfilling a balanced talent resourcing pipeline
  • Leading or implementing regional and local recruitment related projects and events
  • Partnering with businesses/functions and acting as the principal point of contact for all resourcing needs for Sri Lanka and Maldives
  • Handling third party service providers related outsourcing and Headhunting activities

 
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:


  • A degree in Human Resource, Business or a related field
  • Prior experience in talent sourcing and recruitment will be an advantage
  • Top-tier experience in leading projects or events
  • Familiarity in using social media/networking sites like LinkedIn
  • Strong communication, planning and organising skills
  • Flexibility to handle changes and diverse situations
  • Knowledge of Labour Law and employment practices
  • Ability to actively engage and navigate through matrix organization and agility to identify resources to achieve objectives

 
Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
