MANAGER (NETWORK COMMUNICATION) - COMMERCIAL BANK OF CEYLON PLC
Job Profile
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Efficient and effective management of the Bank's Voice Data Network to Provide reliable and secure operations within Sri Lanka and overseas;
- Upgrade, design and implementation of network infrastructure as per the layered security architecture.
- Build high availability and disaster recovery capability.
- Ensure Network Security with proactive monitoring and complying with industry standards.
- Manage Network Information Security Threats.
- Maintain Service levels.
• Vendor management of services, implementation, maintenance and support contracts / service level agreements.
• Capacity planning, health check monitoring and management reports for data / voice network.
• Lead and develop system recovery processes to minimize the impact of disaster scenarios.
• Adhere to the Information Security Policy of the Bank.
• Respond to inquiries from a variety of sources (e.g. regulators, auditors, staff, vendors and service providers etc.) for the purpose of providing technical assistance and support.
• Adhere and implement the requirements of IT security audit standards such as PCIDSS b IS027001.
Applicant's Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Related to Electronic and Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering) or Information Technology.
• Eight years experience in related field with three years experience in Managerial grade covering the following areas;
- Network design and implementation.
- Network Security design and implementation.
- Knowledge and experience of Operating Systems (AIX, Solaris, Redhat and Microsoft).
• Professional Qualifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CClE, CISSP, CEH, Cisco Voice and other standard network and security related qualifications will be an advantage.
• Project Management qualifications such as PMP or previous experience on large network project will also be an advantage.
• Strong skills, capabilities and knowledge of the following areas are expected;
- Switches, Routers, IPS, Load Balancers, WAF and Firewalls.
- Layer 3 Routing such as BGP EIGRP and OSPF.
- Contact Centre 8 VoIP Telephony.
• Ability to work long hours when required.
• Strong Interpersonal, Communication, Project Management and Problem Solving Skills.
