MANAGER - GROUP PROCUREMENT
Job Summary :
• Procuring of approved RMS and PMS at the best possible price and ensure timely receipt of same.
• Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and evaluate same. Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and evaluate same from the point of price negotiations.
• Develop alternate vendors to create competition among them, thereby giving company a benefit.
• Supervision of Import / Export Shipments by verifying accuracy of documents submitted for smooth clearance.
• Attending to Customs queries, obtaining import license and follow up with Bank re receipt of all necessary documents.
• Scrutinizing of P.Os to ensure conformity with quotations and follow up on payments due to Vendors.
• Ensure that the statutory compliances are met within the stipulated deadlines.
• Saving achieved through Sourcing Saving should be a major work related Kpi Secondary or allied Job responsibility.
• Constant interaction with vendors to obtain information re new products, market conditions and trends Key interfaces within the organization
• Ability to interact with government bodies such as Banks, Customs, Ministry of Defense, Pesticides Office, Precursor Control Authority etc,.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and analyze market Data, trends.
Requirements :
• Age between 35 to 45 Yrs.
• Procurement experience of minimum 10 years desired Experience in material planning and supply logistics preferable.
•A Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or Fully qualified in procurement, institute or supply & Management
• Experience in reputed manufacturing organization is a distinct a dvantage.
• Conversant in MS office packages and handling ERP system will be an added advantage
• Good command of verbal written communication skills and should have an excellent interpersonal, Presentation skills.
