Manager (Financial Accounting and Reporting) - AIA Insurance

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintain the smooth functioning of Accounting and Internal controls unit of the department, serving on a 2 year contract period.
Job Accountabilities
- Responsible for reviewing of all accounting related arears for developments and to ensure compliance With the policies and standards (Insurance accounting, Investment accounting)
- Accountable for timely completion of all balance sheet reconciliations and 8SR template for group submission
- Responsible for reviewing accuracy and timeliness of month end expense provisioning, variance analysis and reporting requirements
- Facilitate all external audit requirements in relation to financial statements
- Ensure all SOPS, Policies and Procedure Manuals are strictly followed and up to date
- Responsible over the fixed assets capitalization, depreciation processes and other monthly/annual periodic processing including reporting
- Responsible for managing the fixed asset module in SAP System
Job Specifications
- Qualified in ACA, ACMA or ACCA with a minimum of two years' experience in a similarrole
- Excellent communication skills with good analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external
- partners
- Familiar in SAP environment would be an added advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
