Manager —Group Internal Audit
Job Accountabilities
- Executing audits and evaluate the adeqüacy of controls according to established schedule and quality requirements
- Assists in the preparation of the annual audit plan and schedules, Audit Committee reports, monthly country reports and fulfil other regional or local reporting requirements
- Follow up outstanding audit issues and monitor timely completion of agreed remedial actions by management
- Proactively contribute to the development of the team through coaching, training and providi timely feedback to junior staff
- Liaise with the control communitv and other members of the company to contribute to the implementation of an effective and efficientsystem of internal control
Job Specifications
- Minimum 5yearsof internal / external auditexperience or 7 years of experience in Insurance industry
- ProfessionaI qua lification such ascertified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor or equivalent
- Strong understanding of life insurance operations, industry practices and legislative/regulatory requirements
- Knowledge on IT, audit tools and other software such as TeamMate, ACL (data analytic tools) Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
- Abilityto work in pressurized situations to meet required deadlines
