Job Description
- Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email and TCP/IP protocols and applications
- Upgrading global and local network infrastructure requirement as needed.
- Troubleshoots networks, systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties
- Preparing and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Research, evaluate, and test hardware, software products, and system solutions
- Performing other tasks/duties and special projects assigned
- Coordinating equipment purchasing, deliveries and inventory management
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- The ideal candidate should be willing to work in any roster to support a large internal IT infrastructure base spread the globe
- Willing and able to Travel overseas at short notice
Qualifications
- Diploma in Networking/Computer Science or other similar kind of discipline
- Minimum one to two years’ experience as Junior System & Network Engineer
- Experience in the area of application management- IIS, SQL Server, FTP, end-user applications (Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive etc.)
- Basic Knowledge in virtualization technologies and products such as VMWare & Hyper-V
- Basic knowledge of network applications such as TCP/IP, DHCP, GPO, DNS etc
- Basic Knowledge of managing hosting web applications
- Experience on monitoring platforms such as Nagios and Zabbix
- Excellent English communication skills and presentation skills together with the ability to work with less supervision
Additional Information
- Following Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CCNA Certifications will be advantages
- Proven skills in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation
- Proven skills on Standard data/power Cabling
- Experience with Computer Facilities maintenance
