FreeBalance Sri Lanka is looking to hire a IT Recruiter for Colombo location. As an IT Recruiter, you must know the game of identifying prospective candidates and convert them through an entire gamut of processes into successful hires. You are just a few interviews away from becoming a part of a culture of learning, flexibility and development. This role reports in to the Manager, Human Resources and you may be required to support the recruitment activities for Asia and Pacific Regions.
 
Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality work in a high-paced, dynamic work environment consistently by managing time and effort across hiring projects: sourcing strategies, timelines and deliverables for projects, taking initiative to complete unanticipated or ad hoc tasks, and verifying the completeness of your own work.
  • Prepares job descriptions and advertisements for staffing requirements.
  • Source and attract top talent and handle special projects, such as creating innovative strategies to locate top local talent, and assess a high volume of candidate applications on a daily basis.
  • Full life cycle recruitment including posting, sourcing, screening and interviewing, offer and onboarding.
  • Coordinate interview schedules.
  • Conduct follow ups with the Hiring managers over briefing calls and to understand the timelines to be met for the respective teams.
  • Co-ordinate and assist onboarding of new joiners.
  • Capture the candidate progress in the Applicant Tracking system to facilitate reporting.
  • Prepare regular reports for weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings and prepare professional presentations.
  • Assists with international projects as needed
  • Participate with Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
  • HR Administration & Support across the entire process.
  • Conduct Recruitment drives and support with all the co-ordination needed.
  • Open to frequent travel.

Education and Experience:

  • Masters/Post Graduate Diploma degree in Human Resources Management is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in recruitment for IT industry
  • Should have prior experience in building the talent pipeline for local/off-site hiring events as well as networking and campus events across India.
  • A demonstrable history of using the latest techniques to find and engage passive candidates (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, X-Ray, Boolean, Internet Sourcing, etc).
  • A successful track record of achieving targets, whether those are deadlines, recruiting goals, or both.
  • Self-starter with an incredible work ethics
  • Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS office.
  • Previous experience in recruitment for ERP sector would be considered an asset.
  • Must have a professional demeanour and maintain confidentiality
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
  • Must be familiar with the Indian HR statutory laws and other country laws considered an asset
