About the Role:
As an Intern - Business Analysis at Wiley, you will be responsible for learning, collaborating, and assisting with feature delivery; all the while possessing an upbeat attitude to proactively support organizational initiatives.
The opportunity:
- Experiential Learning: The opportunity to learn and apply Business Analysis by engaging with various products, scrum teams and global processes under the guidance of BA leadership.
- Facilitated Training: The opportunity to participate Business Analysis training aligned with IIBA BABOK V3, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)/Scrum Training and communication development sessions to accelerate the learning curve that predominantly take years to build.
- Collaboration: The opportunity to work with fast-paced Agile DevOps teams, organize & participate events and connect with Subject Matter Experts to explore the extents of the industry.
- Leadership skills: The opportunity to interview and mentor future BA interns to develop the qualities of an empathetic leader.
The product spectrum:
- Education Publishing, Research, Data Analytics & Insights, Content Management, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Marketing Technologies.
Future roles to explore:
- Business Analyst, Product Owner, Technical Writer, Support Analyst and ERP consultant.
What we look for:
- The candidate must be either pursuing or have completed an undergraduate degree in IT / Computer Science from a recognized university.
- The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and the behavioral traits of a future leader.
- Business Analysis related certifications from LinkedIn or other online learning platforms is a plus.
