Casmo is seeking candidate for Industrial Engineering Senior Manager position.

The Challenge 

 The purpose of the job would be to manage all aspects of the Industrial Engineering function and ACE (Lean) objectives while acting on the cultural aspect and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for reviewing process specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods/ activities in manufacturing operations and develop plans to eliminate all kinds of waste through IE/PE & Lean Tools.
• Assist Plant Management to define and develop management control systems to make Manufacturing Operations, Financial planning and Cost analysis to ensure more efficient and propose improvement opportunities.
• Review and approves labour/man mapping analysis all operations according the capacity allocation in the manufacturing Lines/Loops and develop strategies to reduce labor cost factor by implementing through the projects.
• Approving Standard Time Report, monthly production capacity report by reviewing production Planning, Losses and advice plant management in any discrepancies.
• Determine and evaluate the execution of all projects related to IE/PE/ACE (Lean) and oversee all methods, procedures & systems are complying with established standards.
• Manage, Evaluate & develop the team of IE/PE & ACE (Lean) while ensuring the Integrated Roadmap Implementation is in line with the plant goals & objectives.
• Responsible for designing and planning equipment layouts, determining workflow efficiency and developing safety precautions to improve and maximize utilization of production facilities and personnel.
• Act as the ACE Coordinator of the plant. Is Accountable for monthly and quarterly audits coordination in the plant and develop action plans to identified improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with functional or operational experts to implement strategies those appropriate for the plant to maximize performances and improve the IE/PE & ACE (Lean) related knowledge of the plant management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline 
• 7 to 10 years relevant Experience 
• Excellent  communication skills in both  English & Sinhala 
• Ability to conceptualize the current situation  & should be a good team player 
• Analytical & Presentation skills
•  Proficiency with MS Office Packages (Advanced Excel, MS Word, Power point, One Note, etc.)
