Our client is looking out for an outgoing team player for the position of HR Manager
Job Role & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives in line with the overall business strategy
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
• Manage the recruitment and selection process
• Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Oversee and manage the performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
• Ensure legal compliance throughout Human Resource Management
Candidate Profile:
• Minimum 10 years of working experience, and minimum 04 - 05 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in the manufacturing sector would be an added advantage
• Excellent knowledge and experience in hiring, interviewing, HR management, benefits administration, performance management, communication processes, compensation and wage management, job analyzing, disciplinary management, and employment law
• Competency in MS Office package is a must (MS Excel/ MS Word/ MS Power Point).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for timely decision making
• Excellent leadership and interdependent skills with perseverance for result orientation
• Strong verbal and written communication in both Sinhala and English.
• Degree in HR Management and/or MBA or other professional qualifications from recognized Institution
• Age below 40 years
• Residents in Colombo and suburbs are preferred.
