Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for existing retail chain, new channels, wholesale distribution and driving the growth of Retail Revenue for Lassana with innovative business strategies
- Oversee operations, sales and marketing efforts
- Responsible for the overall growth and P&L of the retail business
- Manage the existing retail team island wide and establish collaborative work environment where each individual is motivated to contribute to the success of the business. Increase team effectiveness by communicating values, strategies and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring and appraising results; developing an environment of offering information and opinions
- Build and maintain relationships, and represent the company with all suppliers and other partners
- Maintain highest quality of service in line with company’s vision of becoming the benchmark in service delivery in Sri Lanka
- Coordinate with other divisions and cross functional teams of the business
Skills & Behavior:
- Strong intra-preneurial mindset
- All-rounder capable of overseeing the different parts of the retail business
- Minimum 5 years+ prior experience at a managerial level with responsibility for the P&L
- Dynamic personality – energetic and enthusiastic with team spirit
- High ethical standards and integrity, with the ability to keep confidential information in a proper manner
- Must possess a track record of increasing sales growth and profitability even in challenging market conditions
