About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader who will head our Restaurant Operations team. In this role, you will manage, develop and lead a team to envision and build a world-class restaurant focused function, delivering high growth to our restaurant partners and exceptional customer experience.

We are looking for a skilled operator, project manager and strategist and an incredible leader who loves developing talented, fast-paced teams. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a knack for executional excellence and the commercial side of the business, flawlessly delivering projects that drive the growth and sustainability of Uber Eats Restaurant and Account Management teams in Sri Lanka.

What You'll Do

  • Strategy and Planning: As a team lead, you will be in charge of shaping the Restaurant Operations strategy in Sri lanka: setting the vision for the team, the roadmap and delivering on transformational projects for the business.
  • Build tools and processes: Use your analytical ability combined with operational rigour to build tools and processes that your team can use to drive forward partnership KPIs.
  • Develop & Optimize Processes. Take big picture ideas and projects and break them into actionable steps with rapid timelines for completion
  • Automate/scale - Work hand in hand with our Regional Operations Team to ensure scalable processes are automated, systematized or centralized
  • Partner with internal teams: Work closely with stakeholders across the entire Uber Eats organization.
  • Lead a team: Lead a team on the ground that will help you manage strategic partnerships, ensure they receive best-in-class support and build initiatives to engage and retain restaurant partners across Sri Lanka.   • Relationships - managing excellently at scale
  • Lead Adjacencies launch and sustainable scaling, to encompass a portfolio of offerings for daily usage

What You’ll Need

  • 7+ years professional relevant experience in a fast-moving, B2B environment (management consulting or sales operations experience a plus), including 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Outstanding track record leading functions that included combinations of the following: sales operations, sales & account management, strategy, business analytics, operations, program / project management
  • Passionate about managing an amazing team - You excel at working with diverse & specialised teams, seeing different points of view, and building solutions together. Developing great minds is what you love.
  • Excellent business judgement and strategic thinking skills
  • Analytical rigour - We use data to inform our decisions; you'll quickly identify what data you need to solve a problem and how to analyse it to get to the answer. You'll have experience dealing with complex data sets, deriving insights and checking against what you see in the real-world. Experience with SFDC a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management. Skill in supporting business stakeholders to achieve their critical objectives.
