The Role
 
As a Head of Business Development - Cloud, you would be working collaboratively on expanding Huawei Cloud products in the country and take new initiatives in building a sustainable cloud partner ecosystem for Huawei. This will be an interesting role for you if you would like to expand into new horizons as this role will include key responsibilities such as:          
 

  • leading the cloud team for the whole cloud market handling and equally be well-versed about the market mechanisms, industry segment and its features, target segments and new business ventures on cloud platforms
  • analyzing and exploring customer business scenarios to provide consulting suggestions and value analysis while providing solutions on developing strategic relationships
  • Identifying and developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts in the market, manage contract negotiations and analyze account insights on market position, business portfolio, investment structure and organization structures to provide suitable Huawei cloud solutions
  • converting customer requirement into Cloud services/products/solutions and define market strategies by performing market analysis, segmentations, volume estimations, and competitor analysis to get those requirements met with most suited Huawei cloud solutions
  • leading client negotiations, proposing solutions to CXOs, and Evaluation Committees acting as the single point of client contact for all deal-progression activities while maintaining executive level interaction with strategic alliances, industry influencers, and key company stakeholders
  • establishing great customer satisfaction to effectively manage customer expectations while continuously optimizing solutions, manage contract negotiations while making sure the assigned sales, revenue targets and strategic objectives are met

 
This role would match your profile;
 

  • If you possess a professional background in IT and Cloud Computing with a Master’s / Bachelor's Degree in IT. Leading an existing cloud marketing (AAG) team is a distinct advantage
  • If you have hands on experience in Direct Sales with Account or Partner Sales with a minimum 8 - 10 years field experience and have a natural passion in the subject. Being a sales lead in the areas of IAAS, PAAS, SAAS cloud Integration and cloud native technology is desired for this role
  • having a thorough understanding of cloud trends, cloud market, open source technology and Infra as a service as well as processes and related methodologies
  • being a motivated individual who would achieve shared goals and results by sincerely providing a helping hand to others
  • being a service-oriented team player who has the ability to create a work environment which sparks creative thinking to drive sales growth.
