Group IT Specialist
Roles & Responsibilities
- A dynamic and interesting range of responsibilities await the correct candidates, who will be the pioneer team members for the newly setup Group IT Specialist team.
- Selected candidate would primarily be put to focus on the operational support of critical applications and systems, serving the whole of Nippon Paint Group of Companies in APAC.
- Selected candidates need to handle analytic initiatives utilizing special big-data software adopted by the Group.
- Need to be involved in exploring different technologies and need to express one's creativeness.
- Participate and support key Group IT initiatives.
- Occasional overseas travelling will be required.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Database or a related discipline.
- Candidate with 2 to 5 years of experience working on application systems and databases should apply.
- Candidate with systems operational experience and good skillsets in Linux/Windows scripting would have additional advantage.
- Good command of English, both oral and written, is required.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills required.
- A dynamic and efficient individual who is highly motivated and a good team player.
- Candidate needs to be open minded in adopting new technologies, tools and skillsets.
Trainings will be provided by experts from around the region if required. Candidate will be guided appropriately and accustomed himself/herself into the job.
