Your responsibilities:

Developing custom Shopify apps/plugins and themes.
Creatively solve development problems and translate technical requirements and mockups into site features/improvements.
Developing eCommerce sites on Shopify platform.
Developing custom Shopify themes.
Extending Shopify’s functionalities to next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc.
Integrating third-party and platform supported apps in the sites.
Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in Shopify platform.
Page speed optimization of Shopify sites.
Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites.
Working with GIT.
Producing high quality of work with a strong focus on detail.

Your qualifications:

3-5 years’ experience in Shopify application development required.
Expert in Shopify APIs and its usage.
REST API knowledge.
Proven experience with experience, visual and interaction design, architecting, and optimizing of websites and/or applications.
Solid knowledge of Liquid, Shopify Plus, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
Experience in Node.js and React.js.
Experience in PHP would be an added advantage.
Proven knowledge with Admin API and Storefront API.
Background in Product modelling and configuration via Shopify Admin.
Understanding of Product, Discount, Order APIs and customizations using the APIs.
Awareness of the Marketing Events, Discounts, Gift Cards and their configurations in Shopify.
Experience with Shopify instance management and configuration.
Knowledge in data migration and synchronization between Shopify instances.
Experienced in Agile development methodologies, mobile-first design & functionality with a focus on writing clean, well-documented and scalable designs.
Ability to take direction from leadership & teammates while also providing valuable perspective on enhancing processes and experiences.
Passionate about building world-class digital experiences that balance action with attention to detail.
