Front Office cum Food & Beverage Manager (Bandarawela Hotel)
The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma from a reputed Hotel School (SLITHM preferred).
A Degree in Hotel/ Hospitality Management/ Event Management or an equivalent qualification will be advantageous. A minimum of 4 years' experience in a 3-4 Star Class hotel/resort in a similar capacity is essential to perform this role. Excellent leadership skills, problem solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills , abüity to work within a team, ability to converse in a foreign language, sound knowledge of MS Office package and ability to work long hours under pressure are key competencies sought.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
• Reviewing front office activities and guest feedback forms on a daüy basis
• Ensuring that adequate training is provided to all Front Office staff & F&B staff along with career development
• Scheduling rosters and supervising workloads
• Evaluating the performance of Front Office staff
• Monitoring guest complaints, requirements and resolving issues efficiently
• Ensuring that service standards are maintained at all times
• Handling customer complaints of all F&B related areas in a timely manner
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of the Front office and F&B departments
• Ensuring that all staff are aware of the policies and procedures of the hotel and are adhering the
