Job Responsibilities

• The position is a key member of the Management Team and acting as a business partner to the operational leaders and advisor to the Managing Director/Cluster CFO, ensuring compliance with (corporate) policies & procedures, safeguarding assets and driving strong internal control/ admin (process) integrity.

• Responsible to provide leadership and advice to the Finance Team sub-functions within the area of responsibility: financial, management and cost accounting, direct and indirect tax, internal audit, treasury, insurance and property.

• Support the business on strategy execution and solid commercial trade off management & decision making & proactive in seeking working capital and cost efficiencies. Control and assure that action plans and implementation capabilities match budgeted/ forecasted ambitions.

• Ensure compliance with corporate objectives, policies, procedures and other regulatory requirements. Ensure that financial processes are run in a controlled and timely manner – particularly that financial reporting and forecasts represent a true and fair view of the business.

• Accountable to provide strategic management, leadership and direction for all fiscal functions of the company, acting as a catalyst to drive the company's operating and growth strategies and ensuring the integrity of the company's financial information.

• Conduct of the company's relationship with lending institutions, auditors, insurers, investors and the financial community.

• Provide proactive and creative financial advice, counsel and solutions for strategic decisions, and insight on opportunities for new projects and services, methods of operation, production process and ways to increase profitability at a national and international level to enable the company to anticipate the needs of its' global entities.

• Establish criteria for a growth strategy and work with the executive management team in strategic planning and short and long-term goal setting for the organization to identify potential growth opportunities.

• Contribute as an active team member on all capital and/or acquisition activities including the development of the underlying analysis, evaluation of the fit with the company strategy, due diligence and negotiations, and the integration of acquisitions with the existing business.

• Maintain integrity of accounting/reporting systems while implementing changes to impose efficiency of processing and improving availability of management information.

• Provide leadership insights to the business providing business insights through data analytics (combining financial and non-financial metrics).

 

Candidate Profile

• Post Graduate/MBA Finance/C.A/CPA from reputed institute or equivalent

• Expert in SAP Finance system with minimum 15-20 years' experience in the industry.
